Software testing is a procedure which is undertaken to find out the accuracy, completeness and quality of the software. There are various testing approaches ranging from the most informal testing to formally determined and manipulated methods such as automated testing. Software testing is the process of technical investigation which is performed on behalf of the stakeholders to unveil the quality of product performance in the functional arena it is suppose to operate. The quality of the performance of the system does vary from system to system but some of the attributes that remain same throughout are portability, maintainability, reliability, usability and stability.
