Semi-austenitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel with added aluminum; the steel has similar component with 18-8 austenitic steel, good metallurgical property and processability; it can get different intensity, plasticity and toughness after heat treatment. It is mainly used in making structural parts, container, pipeline, mechanical spring and gasket chronically working below 350℃. The steel's technology of heat treatment is very complicated and it has the tendency to be replaced by maraging steel, but it is widely used at present.
