The steel is developed with martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel on the basis of 05Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb and has high intensity, high transverse toughness and good forgeability; it has better corrosion resistance than general martensitic stainless steel and has similar corrosion resistance to 05Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb steel. It is mainly used in making parts requiring high intensity, good toughness and double corrosion resistance, such as forge piece with high intensity, valve parts of high-pressure system, parts of plane, etc.
