2507 is a ferritic-austenitic(duplex) stainless steel, combined the excellent performance of ferritic steel and austenitic steel, as the chromium and molybdenum content is high, it has a very good resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and uniform corrosion. Duplex microstructure organization ensured the capacity to high stress corrosion cracking, but also high mechanical strength. 2507 stainless steel used in oil and gas industry; offshore oil platform(heat exchanger tubes, water treatment and water supply systems, fire systems, sprinkler systems, steady water system; petroleum-chemical industry equipment; desalination equipment (and high-pressure equipment pipe); required the mechanical and structural components to be with high strength and high corrosion resistance, for example, fuel(waste) gas purification equipment.
