Thar Biotek Pvt Ltd (THBP) is a company promoted by professionals,  medical and plant bio- technologists as Directors with more than 15 years of experience. Since its inception in 2004 the company has focused on developing safe, natural and innovative remedies that will help people lead richer and healthier lives. Today, THBP products have been accepted far and wide and are serving the health and personal care need of consumers all over. As of today we are exporting to many countries all over the world including the European Union. The produce is 100 percent natural  extract which is further tailored as per clients requirement. None of the products is of GMO origin or treated with poly-aromatic hydrocarbons at any stage or irradiated for its shelf life.
THBP is an ISO 9001 2008 and GMP certified company which conforms to quality products under the brand   developed from the herbs grown/ raw material generated  in the rich lands of Aravali and the North Eastern India under organic practices. A well-researched effort and in-depth study is behind the conversion of Ayurvedas traditional herbal knowledge into a complete range of formulations of THBP for healthy living and longevity.
Strength of the company comes from our experts who have vast experience of application research and various bio-industrial ventures.
The company has been engaged in large-scale cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants, processing and product development. Our major work locations are in remote and difficult North Eastern parts of India where large groups of small and marginal farmers/co-operatives have been associated with us since long. We have grouped these small and marginal farmers in SHGs (Self Help Groups) and have been supporting them with improved planting material for various medicinal crops. Besides, we also train them on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for better productivity and quality produce and teach them value addition/on farm processing at cottage scale for better income generation.  
The produce thus obtained is further processed and subjected to Product Development (mainly dietary supplements and bio-cosmetics ) . This way, our expertise is extended not only to large and medium industries but to small entrepreneurs as well to upgrade and expand their business horizons to sustain the global competition
Currently THBP has strength of 600 farmer families engaged in cultivation of approx. 3000 hectares of Medicinal Plants on contract. The company intends to increase the acreage by inducting 500 more farmer families holding approx 1000 hectares of land in three major states of North Eastern India (Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh & BTC). It also envisages to label its products Fair Trade by competent certifying bodies.

        Indian Council of Small and Medium Exporters, New Delhi in 2006.
    THBP was honoured by Udyog Ratan award by Indian Organisation of Commerce
         & Industry in 2007.
    THBP is a company with corporate member affiliation to Biotech Consortium of
        India Ltd (BCIL), an undertaking of Deptt of Biotechnology, Govt of India.
        With this status THBP enjoys a set of privileges and recognitions nationally as   
        well as internationally.
