SF-1 triple-layer composite material consists of 3 bonded layers: steel backing, sintered porous tin bronze interlayer and PTFE anti-wear surface. The O.D. faces and butt joint of the plain bearings are coated with a tin flash for protection against corrosion. These materials have high load capacities and low friction rates, and are oil free and anti-wear. These bushes are widely used as bearings for hydraulic gear pumps, guide bushes for oil cylinders, oil damping bushes and piston rings for automobiles and motorcycles, bushes in textile and foodstuff machines, and various construction equipments.
