Its initial setting time can be over 20 hours for complete penetration. It has elasticity without rupture even gap after hardening. It can bind strongly with furnace shell and furnace lining as one part. After heating there are small expansion to fully fill the gap between furnace shell and cooling wall to avoid the gas leak from the gap.
