Applications and Uses: The DG set protection system DGSP-xyz is used for protection of DG set from overheating (high water temp), low oil pressure and over speed of the engine side and over load, overvoltage and under voltage of the alternator side. Savings: The DGSP-xyz system saves breakdown time, provides preventive maintenance warning and may save lot of money that may otherwise go in for repair of a DG set. It is an aid to the DG set operation and maintenance staff for operating their DG set more efficiently. Automatic switching off: The DGSP-xyz system automatically switches off the DG set when any of the above faults is detected. The DG set will not give power till the fault conditions are removed and then reset switch is pressed. Thus the DG set is always protected.
