4E1/10(100)BaseT is a special Ethernet bridge designed for using multiple E1 circuits to transmit Ethernet data, able to transmit MAC frame data in a point-to-point manner through 1-4 E1 circuits. The designed maximum transmission speed is 7.68Mbps with the full 4 E1. 4E1/10(100)BaseT adopts reverse multiplexing technology, bundles multi E1 circuits to transmit 10M/100M Ethernet data, and allows a certain transmission time delay as in different linkers among E1 circuits. It can use the resource of many existing E1 circuits in telecommunication network to extend the Ethernet transmission distance and the scope of application with little investment, an excellent solution for broadband access of Ethernet.   1.
